The Bay Travel 12U Gray team joined 104 teams in Cooperstown Dreams Park this past week and had an unforgettable experience!
Our Bay Rockets went 4-3 overall, securing the 33rd seed in the tournament, achieving 2 byes in bracket play, winning their first game in single elimination 19-8 to advance, coming up short one game of the final 32 round. They played teams from CA, FL, NC, MA, VA, NY, and NJ.
6 Rockets (half the team!) hit home runs for a total of 11 home runs and 1 grand slam! Too many double plays to count and 16th lowest overall runs allowed – sending buzz thru the barracks about our defense!
It was truly a DREAM week at DREAMS park! Congrats on all the successes boys!!!
